I will display this sign with my 35 years of Jimmy Buffett things. This picture is with my Jimmy Buffett hat that I started building in 1985. I flew it to Paris, Anguilla and St Barts for Jimmy’s concerts. It has traveled to many stateside concerts.
We Parrotheads sure do miss Jimmy but when I am feeling sad about Jimmy being gone I simply think about how his close family must feels about losing such a dynamic family member.
I only got to talk with him twice and he knew my big hat and sang or changed the words to a verse of They Don’t Dance Like Carmen No More at the Anguilla Dunes Preserve Show. Singing about my Junior Mints and Cheeseburgers on my hat.
He was such a huge influence on my entire life in college. From both spending some education time at Auburn University and getting married toooo early. He became a very successful businessman, musician and the best concert performer of be my lifetime. I became an airline pilot which allowed me to travel the world and enjoy Jimmy’s shows outside the USA. While I once spoke with him in St Barts at the Le Select he was so friendly and interested in my flying and transporting my hat. Again, it’s a big hat and has to be taken apart for transport on airlines as luggage.
So I will continue to Keep The Party Going and enjoying life to the fullest. Please pass the word on to the folks that sell the on the web. Please keep the Jimmy Buffett items in stock and for sale. We like Margartaville but we Love the mastermind behind it. Jimmy Buffett and his music will live on🦜
I love having my sign ! I also got a Jimmy Buffet patch from NASA and Space Lab because two different rockets were named for Jimmy 😎 I also just got my Margarita license tag. My memorial for Jimmy is going well. I love driving on A1A and seeing the signs.

Small but a perfect decoration for my pool house. I lived right near A1A and recently moved. This is a perfect pairing of events and key moments of my life (a few of them anyway).
